Creating targets
Creating targets
Updated over a week ago

Here are the ways you can modify or introduce targets in Kluster:

Editing through Snapshots

  • Find a snapshot tracking against a target.

  • Click the three dots in the widget's top right corner to open the target modal.

  • In the modal, edit existing targets, add new ones using the '+' button, or remove incorrect ones.

  • Remember to save changes before exiting the modal.

Accessing the Targets Page

  • Click the 'Targets' icon in the left-hand menu to view the targets page for your lens.

  • Use the select boxes to bulk delete targets.

  • Click on an existing target to edit it.

Adding New Targets

  • Click the plus button to open a new modal for adding targets.

  • Add individual targets for a period, or use the 'Apply To' dropdown to select multiple periods.

Here you can add individual targets for a period. Or if you are trying to add the same target for several time periods, you can change the 'Apply To' dropdown and select multiple periods.

Bulk Uploading Targets:

  • For adding multiple targets across different lenses and periods, use our target template.

  • Request the template from your Kluster Representative.

Aggregated Targets

  • Quarterly targets are calculated as an aggregate of the corresponding months if there's no specific quarterly target.

  • Yearly targets are summed from the quarters.

  • For a specific time period target, that value is used over the sum of its parts.

  • Aggregated targets are configurable; talk to your Kluster Representative to enable them.

Pacing Targets

  • If aggregated targets are enabled, pacing targets will apply.

  • Pacing calculates the target bar based on the pace of underlying targets.

  • Conditions for pacing:

    • Monthly targets should roughly sum up to the quarterly target.

    • If no quarterly targets, but all three months of the quarter have targets, they sum to give the quarterly target.

  • Pacing applies to Yearly and Quarterly granularities, but not to monthly targets.

Pacing example: If Jan, Feb, and Mar have targets of 1M, 2M, and 3M, the target for the first 31 days of Q1 is 1M. If you've hit 1M by 31st Jan, you're on track.

Using Vision For Target Calculation

See the guide on vision here if you would like to calculate your own leading targets using the Vision Calculator.
