Setting up SSO

Current SSO Providers

Kluster currently supports Single Sign-On (SSO) with 3 different vendors:

  1. Google

  2. Okta

  3. Microsoft

Please note, once turned on, your entire organisation will have SSO enabled and therefore all users for your Kluster instance have to login with SSO. Standard login with credentials will no longer work.

For all vendors, it is still essential that a user is made in Kluster before they're able to login with SSO.

All Kluster 'usernames' must match the emails used for login with the relevant SSO vendor. So please let your Kluster representative know if this is not the case.

Google & Microsoft

For both Google and Microsoft, it's as simple as letting your Kluster Representative know that you would like SSO enabled.

Once enabled, there will be an option on the Kluster login page to sign in with the relevant vendor.

Microsoft SSO uses AzureAD for authentication. It may be necessary for permissions to be granted for your organisation to be able to use this. Once enabled by Kluster, using the Microsoft sign in option should automatically request the relevant permissions from your company admin. Once these have been granted, you should be able to login as stated above.

Okta

For SSO with Okta, please follow the below guide that outlines the steps to take to get this configured:

Once enabled, you will have to go through Okta and access Kluster via the tile in your Okta account.
